Book Of Premonitions

Book Book of Premonitions brings together the imaginations, thoughts and dreams of participant groups across the world, by simply asking the question:
Do we make the future happen?
We facilitate the co-creation of interdisicplinary scores and performances: simultaniously teaching performing arts, and inviting critical conversations about our shared future(s) through the creation process. Participants who work with us create a newly printed publication; an object which they can continue to engage with into their own future.
Our collective comprises a wide array of disciplines: actors, movers, musicians, tap dancer, robot-builder, ecological designer and more. Out team is comprised of artists who are all both experienced practitioners, and passionate teachers.
“Er spelen veel volwassenen in voorstellingen met teksten gemaakt vóór kinderen, maar er spelen nauwelijks volwassenen in een voorstelling met teksten gemaakt dóór kinderen.” - (ENG: ”Many adults perform in works written for young people, but you never see adults performing work create by young people” NRC 2023).
More recently, Book of Premonitions travelled to Mexico to collaborate with Neofonia: Festival de Musica Nueva Ensenada. A week of masterclasses was gievn, resulting in a one hour a capella performance. The company will return to Mexico in 2026 for a multi-city publiction research between Mexico and The Netherlands.
